The conference was amazing (my word for the week). Thank you to all the wonderful people who took time out of their schedules to study the Word and say "hello". I am so honored to know you.

Friday and Saturday were very special days . . . .

Jesus, keep me near the Cross,
There a precious fountain,
Free to all a living stream,
Flows from Calvary's mountain.

In the Cross,
In the Cross,
Be my glory ever.
'Til my ransomed soul shall find,
Rest beyond the river.

Hi Jill, I was blessed to be able to attend the Spiritual Perils in the Last Days seminar in Fullerton. It opened my eyes to my need to be more watchful and aware. On Saturday you said the Bible tells us we need to study how satan works and his tactics for battle. Can you please give me the Scripture references for this? I want to follow God's Word and also be able to share with others.
Thank you for all you do, to Our Lord be the glory!

Jill it was a blessing meeting you this wkend.I found the title of the bk I mentioned re the Yanomamo Indians. The bk is called "Spirit of the Rainforest" by Mark A Ritchie. Youtube.com also has a promo video about the movie based on this bk. The title of the video is "The Enemy of God."This wkend was a total inspiration to study the Bible with passion.

Thank you so much Jackie. Check back on the Walter Martin site later this week and I will have my husband, Kevin, add Doctrine of the Demons to our Listening Library.

Elvia,

Great! I will go take a look at this book (maybe include quotes from it in Kingdom of the Occult). Many thanks!

Elvia and Jackie,

It was wonderful and so encouraging to spend quality time with you!

God bless,

Jill

Not having had the benefit of attending the conference (which I am glad it went well), the scriptural reference to study how Satan works...

2 Corinthians 2:11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

In addition to the admonitions to study the Bible (2 Timothy 2:15 etc.) because were it not for the Bible man would not even know there was a devil or who he is.

Too many pulpits teach fear in such a study or that we are depriving a study of Jesus to study about the enemy. If that were the case he never would have allowed it in the Bible.
