Happy Mother's Day! I had a great day of celebrating with family I don't normally get to see on Mother's Day, so I am a happy Mom.

**For all those who might be interested, I will be on KKLA's Frank Pastore Show this Tuesday http://www.kkla.com/localhosts/4/ --not sure of the time yet (probably after 5:30 pm) but I will let you know. Frank always keeps me on my toes, so it should be amazingly informative. :) One question I was asked to think about: What do you feel is the greatest threat to the Church today? Interesting topic and one I could probably discuss ad infinitum if only Frank would let me. What do you think? Write and tell me your thoughts (but move fast if you want me to mention it on the air).

The Kingdom of the Occult is winding its way s-l-o-w-l-y through the permissions process. For those of you who don't already know, written permission is now required in order to quote almost everyone. Yes, that's right. I have to ask witches, satanists, druids and every other occult practitioner for permission to use their words--I kid you not. Of course, many of them don't want to give it to me (can you imagine that?) so you can see how this complicates my sincere efforts to accurately convey occult beliefs.

And now for the answer you've been waiting all week to hear . . . what group worth mega-millions is conspicuously avoiding us? None other than Madonna's Kabbalah Centre, run by the illusive and unfortunately litigious Berg family. Apparently, they can't decide if they should allow me to quote them. The good news is that their rival in the complex world of Kabbalah--Rabbi Michael Laitman--is not afraid to be quoted and granted us permission to do so. Thank you, Rav Laitman.

Life is never dull . . . .

You are probably aware that Walter Martin answered a similar question in his presentation The Cult of Liberal Theology:

"What is the great danger in the Christian Church today? [...] The danger to the Church today, whatever the denomination, from within, is the person who wears the 'cloth of Christ', the person who wears the white collar, or the cross, and who stands behind the sacred desk and who is unfaithful to the Word of God. That is the ultimate danger to the Church: the corrupt and apostate shepherds, who infest our theological seminaries and our colleges and fill our pulpits across the United States and Canada, who know not God, do not believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and will stand in the way of anybody that wants to preach it."

In 2006 James M. Hamilton Jr. gave a similar answer to the question in his article "The Greatest Danger Facing the Church"; the article: http://www.9marks.org/CC/article/0,,PTID314526%7CCHID598016%7CCIID2263368,00.html

I'll try to tune in to the Frank Pastore Show this Tuesday...

Thanks, Matthew, for the great quote. I haven't listened to that tape for a while, so I really appreciate the quote and will use it tomorrow. Thanks again!

Great, Jill!

I'll try to listen in tomorrow. May have to do it online since 99.5 doesn't carry down here in SD. I should be off from work by then.

"What do you feel is the greatest threat to the Church?"

Indifference. Denominational party lines. And a woeful ignorance of biblical end time prophecies.

Indifference:
The result of seeker-friendly Churches being too strong on humanism and too light on theology.

Denominational Party Lines:
Traditions of men clouding the truths of God getting entire denominations off course a degree at a time until most folks are at a loss to define (or recognize) the errant theology of cults and social leaders like Oprah.

Ignorance of biblical end time prophecies:

That it is an in house matter (the war between good and evil) the house being Israel.

That the fig tree (Hosea 9:10) has become tender again (Matthew 24:30-34) but it has not put forth leaves (religion / law of first mention Genesis 3:7) yet (meaning the third temple). So failed Hal Lindsey-esque predictions have only aided the devil's cover up with the resulting apathy and cynicism over prophecy. That and the fact that people for some reason forgot God doesn't grade on the curve... he does not use the Gregorian calendar... never has. So 2000 AD (Y2K) had nothing to do with prophecy. This is where the Preterists p.o.v. gained popularity, when the dispensationalists' raise on the Y2K bet went bust.

But we are nearer now than it appears. Modern advances in technology and people's willingness to surrender more freedoms for protection and entitlements (bread and circuses... Rise and Fall of Roman Empire) are all orchestrating to aid the world ruler whose lack of divine attributes need this assistance to make up the difference who will still have no qualm over claiming to be God in the Holiest of All places, in the third temple in Jerusalem with (non-Messianic) Jewish approval because they believe he is the Messiah... until he reneges on his affirmation of the Mosaic Covenant in the mids of that (the 70th) week of years.

Zechariah 5:5-11 begins on temple mount and ends on the plains of shinar where the devil's "moses" (Nimrod) began the Babylonian religion 6000 years ago.

I can supply the scriptures that support these points. Time and space are restrictive...

Just remember what I have written previously about the 666 (begin the precise number of Hebrew years between the destruction of the first and second temples to the very day...).

God bless and have a grand interview.

For any of the persons you quoted from should be PROUD to be quoted in your book!!

Matthew said it rightly when your dad asked that question.

Just too many so-called wolves in sheeps clothing.

Be blessed,

Fred

Remember this the next time one who confidently opposes the Gospel witness being presented... "May I quote you?"

Watch the confidence wain.
