It has been a very hard week here. My brother had his heart catheterization (it was moved up unexpectedly so I couldn't post about it) and he has been diagnosed with a heart condition that cannot be cured--he will more than likely need a heart transplant. The left side of his heart is only working at 20% and we are all very discouraged. Please pray for Danny and his wife, Maria, that the medication he is on now will strengthen his heart. . . there is a chance it could do that, so we are hopeful. What makes it even more difficult is that Danny cannot work now and the bills still need to be paid, so it is hard for him to cope with that stress on top of everything else. Please pray for God's comfort, strength and blessing in their lives.

When it rains, it pours, I guess . . . my 22 year old niece is expecting her second child (she's two months along), and just found out she has chicken pox. This is very scary for all of us, since chicken pox is dangerous in adults and even more dangerous during pregnancy when the immune system responds differently. She is having difficulty with shortness of breath right now and we are worried about pneumonia. Please pray that God will protect her baby and bring both of them safely through this.

Life can deal us heavy blows, Lord. And you said you'd be with us through them. Even so, we sometimes forget that, in our short sightedness. Even if that is not the case with them, Father, please make your Presence abundantly evident in Jill's life, and her brother's life and her niece's life.

Touch all who are touched by these turns of events. And we pray for the miraculous healing of Danny or I pray for the success of a timely surgery on his behalf. And for the brethren to step forward and help them with their finances in their time of need.

And for the expectant mother, I ask for her healing and deliverance from any complications in her health or pregnancy.

Lord Jesus you know what it is like not to be able to breathe or to have your heart burst. You suffered them both on the cross.

Now these little ones know and it's breaking the hearts of their loved ones. Please deliver them by your mighty arm.

You flung the farthest star into its place... these little ones you can easily heal if it be your will... and we agree who are praying for them asking that it be your will to heal and deliver them.

We bow to your will in humility and will always love you and worship you no matter what, Lord Jesus.

Amen.

Jill: Is there any way we could financially help your brother? I would like to help with a small amount.
